Raymen Beach Resort

When we went to Iloilo last November 8-11, going to Guimaras was on top of our list. From Jordan port, we talked to the friendly personnels of Department of Tourism. They gave us a map, taught us how to commute and what to expect during our trip. We rented a multi cab to take us to the beautiful beach for P450. You may also rent a tricycle for P250 but we found the multi cabs much more convenient because we were 5 adults and we have lots of baggage. The driver was kind enough to tour us around. We stopped by the smallest plaza, Trappist monastery for pasalubongs and Guimaras Trade and Information Center. We didn't stopped at a mango farm anymore since there are no mangoes at all.

The driver took us to Raymen's. But originally I wanted to stay at Villa Igang. Raymen's okay. We didn't rent a room since we're not planning to stay overnight. The public bathrooms are not clean, to my dismay, and the shower rooms are small. By the way, you have to pay P15/person if you're using the shower. They have a canteen in the resort, it's air-conditioned and can accommodate around 100 guests. The food was good, very cheap and they have huge servings, but better inquire first before ordering anything.

Entrance Fee: P10.00 Adult, P5.00 for children
